Newtown Council required the design of a website that acted as a portal for Newtown to attract visitors and boost the local economy. It was paramount that it reflected Newtown’s dynamic, alternative and colourful vibe. Photographing local shopkeepers, bar owners and artists, as well as using illustrations, gave the website a more local and intimate feel. Colour themed category navigation made it much easier to navigate and delivered a much cleaner user experience.
